I know it's been a while since I have been on the post. I'm fighting myself everyday with some serious crap going through my head. But that a totally different story by itself.
My question is this:
I have serious question for "OUR" government official a nd POTUS.
What are they doing to protect "OUR TROOPS" deployed overseas in the fight and stationed in Europe, and other areas in the European countries from the coronavirus? I haven't heard anything about discussion on this. I have been reading that the virus is now full blown overseas and the areas of where are "TROOPERS" are fighting. Tehran is now reporting they people who are now infected.

Standard contact precautions are in place. Quarantines. Travel restrictions. As long as these are done, the chances of spreading the virus are limited. It can't be fully stopped unless ALL travel is stopped. Too much commerce lost in that plan. To put it in numbers (From the CDC):

Between December 2019 to now: 76,936 cases reported in Mainland China. 1,875 cases outside of China. Worldwide, there have been 2,463 deaths (majority in China).

Between October 2019 to now: 29 million to 41 million cases of the flu. There have been 16,000 to 41,000 deaths.

Yes, the Corona virus has a higher death rate but it is not as contagious as the flu virus. The deaths associated with corona are deaths are those that have access to poor medical care....or delayed access to medical care. Also, compromised immune systems don't help.
