Nobody is going to issue retirees masks lol. You will either need to buy or make your own or you will not be allowed in the commissary. They aren't issuing them to Active so why issue to retirees....

The principle "back in the old Corps" was that anything an enlisted troop was required to possess would be issued to him. Officers might be ordered (or merely "suggested") to purchase whatever the chain of command considered they should possess.

You have to get your own. They just initiated this here on post yesterday. They (post) included face "coverings" in our document realizing masks are hard to come by. Bandanas or "drive on rags" were on the list of approved coverings. The disclaimer was that they had to be in good taste. The dollar store has them for .99 cents.
