It all lies with the institution you work toward the degree with. Earning an Associates does not buy too many cups of coffee should you look to advance in your field, why not sign up for a Bachelors right off the bat.

That all depends on how many credits your civilian institution grants upon review of your JST.

SPC (Join to see) if that's your goal, I suggest looking into Coastline Community College for their Health Science degree. They gave me 40 out of 60 semester hours for my 68W AIT.
