I have less than a year in my contract to do my SRR I am being told to extend/re-enlist if not sign a declination statement. Can I sing one and go reserves or can I go reserves while still being active and having orders to go to my SRR (S. Korea)?

Your options are thus:

1) Reenlist to meet the SRR

OR

2) Extend to meet the SRR

OR

3) ETS from Active Duty to enter the Reserves.

You can only pick one

When you sign your declination your orders will get deleted. You can sign a contract for the Reserves. Your contract begins the day after your AD ETS.
