With the current threat of IEDs, UXOs, RPGs, etc. should every vehicle in the miltary's inventory be uparmored? This would make it easier to mobilize units with battle ready equipment to new theater of operations. It would also ensure that troops are training on the equipment that they would be utilizing down range. This is important as we all know driving a heavier vehicle is a huge difference especially visibility. However, cost to buy just uparmored vehicles during a financial crunch time may not allow such a move. What are your thoughts?

While it important to train how you fight, having the extra expenses of up-armoring all military vehicles is not doable when we are down sizing our military. There is still training value when training on non-up-armored vehicles. Leaders just need to ensure when in country their Soldiers get the proper training on the armored vehicles before assuming missions.
