Our current system is dominated by two parties, is that arrangement representative of the american people's will? or does a third force need to cause waves? not necessarily to win (though that is an option for discussion) but what third derivative is needed to start change in this country? please explain your position.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD4U46EX_7I though he is biased twards downsizing of government he does bring up 3 third party canidates. for information.

Yes, I think that a growing third party (likely the Libertarian Party) can affect decisions made by those elected officials who are not in the party.

At least, theoretically. The same effect can occur from any third party candidate that gets a noticeable portion of the vote. The savvy victor may notice that he could stand to gain some votes by implementing part of the third party candidate's platform.

Get rid of commission on political debates which is run by the rnc and the dnc, and controls who is in the debates. That would allow the alternative parties more of an even field.

America requires many more parties. Parties are the means for voters to unite under their shared beliefs, to vote in representatives to represent them.

When two parties have the sole ability to make the laws for the good of the people, inevitably they make laws for the good of the two parties and neglect the people.

The Two Parties have done an amazing job at dividing voters and enslaving them to the belief that the voter must vote AGAINST one party, not voting for the one which best represents them.

In December 2013, after Veterans became targets of Congress to sacrifice for their need to distribute tax dollars elsewhere, the Veterans Party of America formed as a Constitutionalist, solution oriented party designed to unite Americans, no longer dividing them.

In fact, I do. When one group of people have the full power to make the decisions, unchecked, We The People lose.

European Parliaments require coalitions to be built around the legislation. Often, many pieces of legislation have coalitions which do not resemble each other at all.

California was an outstanding example of one party owning power. The Democrats had a super majority, meaning they could not be prevented from passing any bills they chose.

Major unconstitutional gun laws were passed, a multi billion dollar high speed rail system approved, and both education and the pending drought were completely ignored.

Now, a year later, any child can use whichever bathroom it desires at school by merely declaring gender confusion, gun purchases are limited to those on an approved list after extensive firearms training is completed and having a convicted predatory stalker with restraining order violations is not justification for a concealed carry permit after the $300+ application fee is paid, and the worst drought in California's history is occurring with the only desalination plant in mothballs....but a high speed train has been funded.

A third candidate would change the dynamics, however, it is big money with special interests that get politicians elected regardless of their party.

I have little faith that anyone elected on the national level will actually care about anything or anyone other than their own special interests and agendas.

Sorry for being negative, money talks and all else is food for the corrupt.
