Can US Army prior service Marines be awarded something in the Army for MCMAP?

I am work with a prior service Marine that earned his black belt in MCMAP and he wants to know if this is transferable at all to the Army in combatives or anything else?

I was a Green Belt Instructor and I was awarded Combatives Level 2 certification when I switched branches... Whether that was an S-1 guessing or the right answer, I'm not sure, but that's how they translated it at the time (2005)...

Being a prior service Marine, not much of our training transfers over due too doctrinal differences
