Sewing is a dying skill in our culture yet it is a critical skill to have outside the United States.
According to the official Army webpage: http://www.army.mil/article/146104/Clothing_repair_taught_for_final_time_at_Quartermaster_School/ , the Quartermaster school is no longer teaching young Soldiers this skill.
Do you believe that this skill should be still taught or is no longer needed? Why should it still be taught?
