How does the ETS process work?

ok so how does ETS work? i start leave in september, im already on phase 1 then what? also when shipping my stuff back home can i pick where it goes? bc ill be moving not that long after im out

If you start ETS leave in September and haven’t even started SFLTAP then you might want to reconsider your current ETS plans
SFLTAP has all those answers

SPC (Join to see) then you must not have listened closely because they answer all these questions. That’s literally half of the STLTAP process - how do you ETS and clear? It’s a class for transitioning out of the military

This entire process is discussed during SFLTAP as SFC (Join to see) has stated. either you haven't started the process or didn't pay attention during the classes. Either the case, you clearly don't have a plan and should really consider your future.

When you ship your HHG, you must ship them to your home of record, or they sit in storage not to exceed 90 days after separation. You also have the opportunity to ship them to a location you will be living at. Once the shipment is set up, you cant change it. (This will all be answered in SFL TAP)

You also have those mythical creatures known as NCO's that im sure would be able to assist in answering any questions you may have or finding the answers
