If IDT funds are available, then yes you will receive reimbursement for travel. The cap is $500.00 per month when travelling for BTA...as long as you get all of your documents done and submitted in DTS in a timely manner.

The answer is: it depends. The AR is looking at IDT travel reimbursement for low density/high demand personnel. Unlikely it will be across the board.

Yes, you can receive IDT travel from an overseas HOR to your unit. My current unit in Hawaii is composed of mainly Soldiers who fly in from the US mainland. We even have one Soldier who flies from Germany, and another from South Korea. They all receive IDT travel reimbursement. Like others have mentioned, it is subject to availability of funds in your organization.
