Have you not been to the transition Brief at your installation yet? This is covered in detail. Your profile is secret squirrel and I do not know where you are. Most installations post their transition Brief on line.

There will be at least two slides in there about your authorization for transportation: https://www.carson.army.mil/dhr/DHR/MPD/PPB/Briefings/Transition.html

It's HOR or the constructive cost, you pay the difference.

CPL (Join to see) - JPPSO usually has a cyclic briefing you go to before you get clearing papers. Depending on your ETS date, you may need to schedule far in advance.

they'll pay to move you to your HOR. If you want to move somewhere else, they'll pay you what it cost to move you to your HOR or your new location, whichever is less.

CPL (Join to see) you are eligible to start SFLTAP 18 months from ETS. If you haven’t started then you are seriously disadvantaging yourself

The short answer is yes.
You get a plane ticket and any pay due you.

The long answer is what you get depends on your rank and where you’re going when you get out and if you are retiring or if you are getting out after an enlistment.
So check with the post transportation office before you do anything like getting your DD214 and walking out the front gate to get a bus ride to the nearest airport without finding out first.

Not finding out first may be very expensive and inconvenient because you might just ending up paying big bucks because you end up having to pay for something you could have gotten for free if you did your homework before you got out.

So in the end it’s all up to you and if you’re willing to do the homework.
If not all that back pay you get might go to some moving company instead of going into your bank account.
