I signed my contract for the 25B mos last week it is slated to be 5 years and 35 weeks in total. Im in DEP if that helps. I am wondering is it a possibility to lower my contract by a year. Or is 5 years the standard for 25B's ?

I signed the same contract in 2012. AIT is almost 5 months. Use all of those years to get IT certifications for free. The experience you will gain is priceless. Trust me having certifications are worth their weight and more in gold.
