When you get to Bragg, speak with the Education Office to see what entails in the FAST Class. When I took it many years ago, it was a straight up two week course 8 hours a day. If that is the case with Bragg's office, then turn around and talk with your NCOs to see if you can take time away from work to do this.

being that my gaining unit is overseas right now, would that better my chances of getting approved ?

SGT (Join to see) - Even though your gaining unit is deployed, you will arrive to your unit in its Rear Detachment element. Same principles apply.

I just took my Bsep class couple months ago , and it’s up to your commander if his willing to let you go or nah because during class hours that’s your place of Duty so they can’t call you back to work while I’m class . Took my Over all Asvab Score from a 43 to 79 . GT from a 98 to 116 . Tbh I only paid attention to the first two weeks lol . Also the test is setup for if you get a Question Correct the next Question will be harder & if you get a question wrong the next question will be easier. Is up to you how you wanna use that information lol . Don’t stress your self trying to solve really time consuming question choose your best guest. Good Luck !!

Hey, when you go to the education center on fort bragg. Ask for the BSEP sign up slip for the next month or next class available. It’s available by months.

You take that form slip and push it to your chain of commander first for the Commander to sign it, the commander has the say so basically and can approve/deny but you still want to give respect of the chain of command to push it through your company.

After the commander signs it, it should be given back to you for You to take it to the education center. I’m here on fort bragg and have gone through the process, feel free to send a message.

When you desire to go is up to you but has to at least be considerate of the company training schedule. Every commander is different, some will say no because of a training event coming up and will approve you after it’s over. Some will just sign off on it and you’ll be on your way. Best of luck to you!
