HRC is slow to get back with Soldiers; fails to properly update records when requests have been made numerous times; and in general, have poor attitudes when called out on their inadequate abilities to assist.

I would agree that being proactive is the key. Especially with board related items. I've had mixed results in the past. Some good, some bad but I think they are definately trying to improve. If you aren't following the HRC My Board File page on Facebook you are hurting yourself. They responded to everything usually within an hour (many times within 10 minutes) to update an ERB, pull a document to your file, etc).

I will definitely follow that suggestion, as well as pass this recommendation to my Soldiers. Thank you!

I've had nothing, but follow-through with HRC during my career. The MP Corps branch managers do everything in their power to accommodate enlisted Soldiers. It's been my experience that those not getting what they need usually are putting forth a minimum effort.
