I heard they give you a good 3 days of classes before, I had pretty garbage land nav training in OSUT. It is definitely not my strong point, any suggestions how I can do well on this?

Take all the time you need to plan. Make your land nav plan dummy-proof. Write it down step by step.
If it is day-into-night land nav, then try to get as many points as fast as you can, as close to the start point as possible. If it is night-into-day, then use the night time to get to the farthest point and work your way back as it gets lighter.
Obey the rules, or don't get caught. "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'. If you get caught, you don't deserve to be SOF." If someone yells at you, you may not have been caught yet, unless they can identify you or think they can.
Don't sit down to rest, or don't get caught. I've seen guys get kicked out for sleeping when they had their points and were awake but the cadre thought they were sleeping.
Enjoy it. Some days can be gorgeous, and it's the only time you won't get smoked. Keep a canteen that you put all your sugars, salts, cerasports, and drink mixes with water. It's a good snack during land nav or any other time you're sucking.
Don't look at your compass backward.
