Divorce with children involved does SM still receive BAH?

SM going through divorce. Two children are involved.Once divorce is finalize and visitation is set up.Does SM lose BAH or does SM receive BAH without dependent?

Unless the service member has 51% custody of the children he will lose BAH and only get BAH-DIF, as well as moved into the barracks based upon his rank. An exception to policy must be submitted in order for the service member to remain off post.
