<p>It depends on a LOT of factors Capt Moran.&nbsp; Military officers tend to be more organized and better able to prioritize than their civilian counterparts but the choice is often made on the base philosophy and atmosphere of the company.&nbsp; I don't see a retired or separating military officer being offered a CEO position in most Silicon Valley companies any time soon. :)</p><p>Corporations that do a large percentage of their business with the government or military, on the other hand, are usually looking for that style of leadership.</p>

The study basically concluded that there was some disproportionality in former military vs non-military getting into c-suite roles. I would imagine there would be a difference...
