Hello. My info, I am going active duty enlisted July 20 2020. I am a future soldier with the army. I have a month before I ship. I injured my knee hip/ back pain, I don't have mobility as it hurts when I try to run or stretch ( I feel a popping behind my knee, followed by pain). I have had history of pain but not like this. Will my recruiter. w able to help push my enlistment? Or should I try to go to basic with an injury?

You won't even make it back through MEPS if your injury is as you claim. You need to contact your recruiter now and apprise him of the injury so that things can be done. You would just end up being sent home and with a unfavorable discharge if you tried to soldier through it and not say anything.

Go to a Doctor, report this to your recruiter and get the proper medical treatment and rehab then go back through the process again. Sounds like you need to seek the help of a sports fitness trainer to get help on how to exercise without injury.

I'll definedly report this to my recruiter tomorrow. And the issue with the pain was weak lower back muscles and mobility issues, they were solved. Once the virus shutdown it was hard to get a workout in with the lockdown. Now that I started again is when the issues became worse.

Martin Lopez - The lockdown has not been going on that long. Not really. Not even 6 months. If you have this kind of a flare up from going back at working out then one of a few things, you either don't know how to properly work out ie safely hence the suggestion about a sports fitness trainer or you have a more serious underlying issue that just presented itself. Better now than later when you are in basic and either get rolled back discharged.

What it sounds like is that you also need to get with a Physical Therapist so that they can work with you and show you exercises that cane be done safely and in your home or whereever using every items so that if there is another lockdown etc you can still work those problem areas and keep them limber.

You need to reach out to your recruiter, they will tel you what it takes to postpone (if possible) your entry. It is all based on available positions in which you qualify.

20 July, you posted 13h ago(Aug 7)? If you try and go to basic and you are hurt you will have a very hard time trying to get back in when they send you home on a medical. If you wait and push back it will be so much easier to get in. Like everyone is saying- tell the recruiter. It will be better than trying to show up broken. Good luck.
