Seems like there will be more protesters outside than those inside the convention. Curious if they will riot like in Chicago and how police will respond if they do. Just curious if you think if we will see a repeat of 1968

These riots will become a new part of norm life as covid gets worse than ends into the next few years. People will keep protesting even after they get what they want because they'll never be happy.

Than the foot becomes a yard than a yard will become a mile. My age group has no concept of reality. Protesting is okay to an extent but once you start doing the very things you protest against without realizing it you no longer can do it.

If it happens, I can tell you who Wisconsin will vote for in November. Milwaukee has put up with a lot of BS to host the DNC including ridiculous requests that the Police cordon off large swaths of the city to non-DNC people, requests for bars to stay open until 4 a.m., speeding up of several costly infrastructure projects costing 10's of millions of dollars to taxpayers, won't even get into the small Army of hookers and pimps that are going to loose business, etc. If the city is trashed or damaged in anyway, the state is going to swing Republican in November.

It is rather obvious in the rural areas of Wisconsin - Trump flags are everywhere. Heres some boats in Greenbay and this goes the same for pretty much any lakes in Wisconsin. Trump has a Navy in Wisconsin.
I'm thinking Trump will take Wisconsin no matter what happens in Milwaukee.
I guessing as well if Trump wins the riots will never stop.

SPC David S. - Yes but Madison and Milwaukee carry the state and drag it Liberal when it votes that way. Milwaukee flip-flops regularly (hence if their are riots or damage in Milwaukee it will flip to Trump in a definitive way) but Madison being the state Capitol is rock solid Liberal. Whenever you have a concentration of high paid lawyers, always going to dominate Liberal because the Democratic Party showers trial lawyers with pro-lawsuit legislation and other goodies, key fundraising and Democratic voting block. So you will find in most state Capitols with the lobbyists and lawyers concentrate they tend to vote Liberal. Austin, TX is another example. Note how the fundraising spiked after Biden put a trial lawyer on the ticket as VP.
