I took ASA (B). Have any of you taken both courses? How did they compare? Were they basically the same? What were the important differences? Which one did you find more useful, and why?

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA - Is the ASA (B) course MOS specific or immaterial?

MSG (Join to see) - I believe it is immaterial. We were Infantry, and it probably focuses on combat-oriented MOSes, but I think anyone can attend. The instructors came to us and taught everyone E-1 to E-5 that was available in the Battalion.

MSG (Join to see) - I understand the instructors are in the same company or maybe battalion as the RSLC instructors.

I’m still stuck on “Army ADVANCED Situational Awareness (BASIC).”

You're not the first. Someone on here thought I was making it up/making fun of the Army.
