I'm considering joining the National Guard after a 14 year break from active duty and am looking for information regarding the process, but especially what PS-AIC is like. General knowledge and personal anecdotes are welcome. Can anyone help me out?

For general knowledge, your break was over five years, so you will go to BCT.

Wow, that's a long break in service. Have you talked with a recruiter yet? That would be the first place to start. Be mindful you would be coming into the ACFT, which is a lot different than the APFT. Wish you the best in your journey.
