I just got off of active duty as a 12N and am going to join the reserves as a 68F. Can any 68F let me know if we can get any college credits from AIT. I am talking to a career counselor and she assured me that it was possible to get credits from 68F AIT. I want to be 100% sure that I can get credits and am not being bamboozled. I did 5 years and the only reason I am considering reserves is to help further my education. Any information will help, thank you!

Yes and no. Any training you do in the Army will give you college credits if a college decides to grant you those credits and the degree you are in has areas those credits go to. You’ve already got recommended credit for your 12N AIT and BLC. The responsibility is yours to find out of your college will accept your RECOMMENDED credits and how much. With few exceptions, no Army school equals regionally accredited courses because military schools don't give you a letter grade in each subject

You'll likely get some credits, but it depends on the school you attend to complete your degree. ACE only provides recommendations on what military training should translate to in terms of college credits. It is up to the school to accept that recommendation, alter it, or reject it completely. In my experience, military training is really only worth gen ed credits. I've never seen a university grant more than 1 or 2 courses worth of credit for major tract courses, though you can rack up 20+ hrs of gen eds/electives for military courses.
If you want to knock out courses quickly, I would recommend DANTES or CLEP exams. If you get the books and study for a week or so, the tests are pretty easy to pass and you can complete a lot of your 100 level coursework.
