Do I report to RASP before my clearance comes back?

Since it’s backlogged and it’s taking forever to get a clearance, will I be able to report to RASP with a pending SF86?

I believe so. We had an IDF Veteran in our RASP class who graduated without his clearance. He stayed in holdover and worked for RASP while waiting for his clearance to go through.
As it turned out, it didn't go through, but he was able to graduate and wear the Tan Beret for a while without it.

if your clearance doesn’t go through you can’t be a ranger? And what would make it not go through?

Isaiah Hughley - well, usually debt or something like that, I think. In his case my best understanding was his affiliation with a foreign government that (while it is an ally) is known to spy on anyone and everyone they can.
