How long does HRC have to send a letter for assignment regarding EFMP? What is this letter for?

I was told that I am waiting on HRC to send some kind of letter to my career counselor so that i can re-enlist for my reclassification.

Someone told you wrong. EFMP has no bearing on Reclass. It will however affect your follow on assignment. There's a very good chance that your follow in assignment will be Korea. Maybe you're reclassing to a SMAPP MOS and he's waiting for the SMAPP memo.

SGT (Join to see) lol no in your case it won't be consecutive overseas tours. Your Career Counselor doesn't have to wait for the SMAPP memo to reenlist you. More likely he's just waiting on your hotline to get returned with your class date.

If the reclassification is a PCS move, and you have an EFMP dependent, they must be cleared to go to said location

EFMP paperwork needed for any packets would be a DA Form 5888 and DA Form 2462. But I don’t know why you’d need them for re-class unless your school is a PCS move.
