Can I still take APFT just to improve my score to get more promotion points?

No. The only people who can take the APFT are those who are flagged for APFT failure. That's the only exception I've seen for people to take it. The ACFT is the test of record but doesn't count negatively until Mar 2022 at this point.

Unless you failed the APFT when all this switch over and COVID madness happened, you will NOT be taking the APFT anymore. You will be taking the ACFT.
