Good! Now we don't have to travel so far to kill them.

I am pretty sure at least a few have made it here. When they strike it will be a cowardly act such as a mall shooting or a large event etc. It will happen here in the near future. The best way to have avoided it would have been to stay on the offensive where they are. They would struggle launching any offensive action if they were on the defensive non stop. We (the president)have taken the pressure of them. There will be a price to pay for that.

I would expect rather stiff resistance, especially after NG units were mobilized and civilian militias self-organized, but I fear that something very very bad would have to happen before we as a nation take threats to our national and personal safety seriously.

I mean, 9/11 wasn't bad enough?

Im starting to question the validity of "threats". From the point that Terrorists often do not publically say a word about their activities BEFORE they do things, they just do them, and sometimes will then claim credit for it AFTER the fact.

9/11 wasn't bad enough...well:
A) it was too long ago, and people need constant reminders to remain vigilant.
B) there are still some folks who think that was an inside job.
C) some people are just living in the bubble of "It can't happen to me" and it is so severe you cannot shake them out of their own cognitive dissonance.

This is the first time I have ever seen the term "cognitive dissonance" in a military-themed setting, but it fits so well.

It wasn't too long ago that a man was captured on video holding a sign that read ISIS is here. If they weren't then, then they have had plenty of time to cross the open border with Mexico. Actually, this should come of no surprise.
