Can a corporal attend the SOM board?

Is the SOM for everyone, non-NCOs, or E-4 and below? I'd like to attend the SOM before going to the promotion board.

Well, a CPL is an NCO...so logic would dictate they compete in NCO of the Month competition. Personally, I do t see why not. However, it's whomever runs the Board that dictates the grade ceiling. Talk with your 1SG to get their input

SOM is for everyone to attend, rank isn’t a issue.

A Corporal is about the only rank I truly respect. Go to the NCO Board.
