I switched from Reserve to National Guard through direct commission early this year. However, I could not locate the Release Order in my AKO. And my old reserve unit has not seen it either. Where can I find it? Pls advice. Thanks!

It may not be cut.
In the circumstance you describe, it is possible to accept a direct commission without the conditional release (DA 368) being followed through upon with the ensuing discharge order from the Army Reserve.
It is also possible it is bumping around in HRPAS not being actioned. There aren't really any ill effects to you, but if your old Reserve unit didn't complete the action, you'll still be in their books as a ghost. If you are off the books, then it is likely the order was cut, but your unit can't see it now that you are gone.

Thank you for the prompt response, 1st Sgt.

According to the UA of my old unit, I am off their books. However, my recruiter from the Guard told me that without the order, I cannot be appointed. What's the process to secure the order, assuming it's cut already? And if it's not cut, what are my options?

Thanks again.

They may have to make a request for the order. It is possible that they completed the transaction without publishing an order. That option pops up when the transaction is actually being done in the system, and the administrator has the option of publishing the order or not. If it was published, they should have the order available in their Orders tab in the Personnel module of RLAS.
