If there are any 35S here, I’d like to pick your brain. I’m looking to reclass come this fall, and 35S is something I’m seriously considering.

You'll need a TS first. Make sure you apply for that now. 35S seats are very few and far between

Thank you SFC Boyd, I already have a TS/SCI and meet all the prerequisites, just curious about the course and difficulty level , and what makes it difficult. I appreciate any and all informantion, thank you.

It is a challenging course. I would recommend going “volo” basically staying every day after class because you will not be able to study when you go home. Training with new soldiers/sailors is another challenge because they’re all guey for each other and I had to tell the Navy kids to stop touching each other. Basically training with young people can be frustrating. But yeah from day one, stay after and study and you should be fine.

Talk with the Sierras there in the Brigade and if it suits you, go for it. One thing to consider are the promotion rates for the senior grades. Do a compare and contrast to your current MOS. Good Luck in your decision -- Always Out Front!

Rgr, CSM I have been reaching out, this was just an additional resource. Thank you for your input , I’m definitely considering all pros and cons. This is kind of make or break time for me, so definitely heading into this with caution.
