SGT (Join to see) it's a 4187 but it's not something you put together. You need to get with your BDE schools for it

SFC (Join to see) - I thought failure of an NCOES resulted in a Bar and recommendation for separation.

CPT (Join to see) it does but if you look at the Separation regulations it actually says separation unless the commander chooses to bar. But then the question arises of how to get someone into ALC if they're barred, which you can't. So, it all comes down to commander discretion. If you want to go exactly by reg, the commander can bar and then remove the bar after a while, causing the Soldier to lose their promotable status. It usually takes a year to get another ALC class date anyway
