I recently enlisted and scored a 68c spot which is what I was aiming for. However, I haven't been able to find any conclusive information about training location(s). I am married and have a 2 year old, and I would like to try to plan on how everything will unfold during my training. My husband will be, of course, packing the house etc but I don't even know where to begin to look for housing? Is there a way for me to find out where my phase 2 location is scheduled for now? I don't leave for basic for a few months, and AIT starts in early November for me.
Thank you in advance!

You will find out where you are going to phase two once you get to phase one based off your class code. Just graduated 68C school myself. Good luck study hard.

It’s based off a rotation. My class was 17-04 so year 2017 class #4 for the year. We went to DC. Class 03 went to El Paso. 05 stayed in San Antonio.

You will be at Fort Sam Houston for ten weeks after Basic. The married people I went to school with waited to move their families until phase 2. Phase 1 is all classroom studies and you will be busy with PT in the morning and class all day. Study hard! The 68C course helped me land a great civilian job. It is worth all the hard work.

Because you can be a hold over in basic or even phase 1. Things change all of the time. Once you graduate phase one you will know

If you are near a CAC enabled computer, go to the ATRRS Course Catalog, chose 68C from the Enlisted MOS drop down box, click Search and it will show Phase 1 dates as well as Phase 2 dates and locations. Like SFC (Join to see) stated, the class dates are in a certain order, two classes per location per year. So look for the graduation date of your Phase 1 class, add about +/- 30 days and the closest Phase 2 start date should be your location. Good Luck to you in class!

You can never plan for next location until you have actual orders or shows up on ask/erb. But even then it’s not guaranteed. The army takes care of its soldiers. People will tell you different and I have my share of complaints but ultimately my family and I have never done without. When you find out where your going just contact that locations housing office. They are eager to help
