I recently enlisted and scored a 68c spot which is what I was aiming for. However, I haven't been able to find any conclusive information about training location(s). I am married and have a 2 year old, and I would like to try to plan on how everything will unfold during my training. My husband will be, of course, packing the house etc but I don't even know where to begin to look for housing? Is there a way for me to find out where my phase 2 location is scheduled for now? I don't leave for basic for a few months, and AIT starts in early November for me.

Thank you in advance!

You'll receive your phase 2 assignment 90 days prior to your phase 1 start date. You'll travel TDY enroute to Phase 1 and then PCS to your phase 2. There is no way to pick, influence, or know your phase 2 ahead of time. No one at the course has any influence or knowledge of your phase 2. HRC Retention branch handles the assignment.

This is actually easy. In ATRRS if you have a choice of start dates. Look at the phase 2 sites and when they start ( Lewis, Gordon, Walter Reed, bliss and ft Sam) go back 2 months and that is the start date for phase 1 for the location that you will go to for phase 2. Ie: phase 2 at ft Gordon starts 1 Nov. You want to be in the 1 Sept phase 1 class. Also, for obvious reasons don't bring family with you to phase 1. You arent going to be there long. hope that helps
