Personally, I question the value of all these "public awareness" campaigns. Especially when their costs are not openly discussed ... how much is Tom Hanks being paid to do this? I am reminded of the recent revelation that the NFL was getting paid big bucks for something that we all assumed was being done as a patriotic gesture and in appreciation of the troops.
