Does anyone remember a gas generator/concentrator in a field tent?

I vaguely remember (1970's) an oxygen/other gasses field concentrator in use at MCAS Iwakuni. It was powered by a ground-mounted jet engine, and concentrated various gasses for use on the base. I can't seem to find any reference to this type of equipment on the web.
