Can Unit armorer use 2404 instead of 5988s to fill out operators PMCS?
In our unit it is a big deal to print out 5988 since MP is far away and clerks are always tasked out. It takes usually 60~90 min to get all the 5988s. If we can just hand blank pre filled 2404 to the operator everyone can save time?

Might want to check with the Commander to see if there is a specific policy dictating that only 5988s need to be used. I mean, you can use 2404s, but I believe that GCSS Army only does 5988s. I could be wrong as it has been a spell since I messed with that. Either way, get with your Commander, 1SG and Maintenance Sergeant to get their input and guidance.
