I think this is a great offer, a friend at 7-Eleven Corporate shared this with me. I think it shows they are stepping up to show support but wonder how it resonates with other vets. Take a look at the article and see what the conditions are.

I like the idea, SSG Peter Muse. It's kind of like American Idol (or one of those shows) for veterans, and the grand prize is a 7-Eleven franchise. Seems like a great idea and a fair way to award a veteran.
7-Eleven is already vet-friendly: "7-Eleven was selected a 2014-15 'Best for Vets' franchise by Military Times, as well as a Top 100 Military-Friendly Employer by GI Jobs, one of U.S. Veterans Magazine Top 100 Veteran-Friendly Companies and a MVE (Most Valuable Employer) by civilianjobs.com." This just adds to their vet-friendly reputation, in my opinion.

Wow - this is Awesome!!
The Franchise that I was part of gave Veterans a 10% off the Franchise fee - which saved me thousands of $$ - 7-11 has been reinventing themselves - and there are more and more popping up here in the NW!
