I’m at Fort Carson, December of this year will mark 1 year on station. Would she get stationed here? Or would I have to apply for a joint spouse assignment after she receives orders.

You two need to enroll in MACP. After that she may get assigned to your post, depending upon her MOS and the needs of her MOS there. Otherwise she will not be and will most likely be assigned to Korea. After that your next assignment for both of you should be together

I see. So it’s basically yes but she’ll most likely be stationed as far in left field as possible at first. Gotcha

SPC (Join to see) no the reason for sending her to Korea would be that it's an unaccompanied assignment so that once she finishes there you two can be assigned to a new location together

Getting stationed together will also depend on both of your MOS. The army won’t send you to a duty stationed if they don’t have you MOS there.

Yeah, I’m 11B and she’s aiming for 68E or practice nursing, which both of those are pretty much everywhere.

Meant to tag Duel Military but for some reason the Tag “ Joint Service” was inserted.
