I learned that my SSDI benefits expire soon, due to my age/Anticipated Retirement Age. Does my VA disability benefits expire too? When will that meager amount stop coming? It isn't much but it DOES make a difference, to me.

The only thing that will change your disability payments is if an evaluation takes place that increases, decreases your disability rating or deems that the disability is no longer present.

I would add that it is rare for the VA to require a revaluation on it's own. Normally those take place if you have filled for either a secondary claim or requesting a revaluation for the SC disability for a increase. Either way, even if it is reduced, it never expires.

SSDI stops at age 65 because SS retirement starts at age 65.
VA only changes if a re-evaluation.warrants a change.

SPC John Moeller After the VA has made its original determination, the monetary benefits continue to be paid to the veteran as long as the disability continues. In certain circumstances, a veteran's disability may be re-evaluated or re-examined, after which the disability rating may be increased, decreased, or remain the same.
