With an RE 3 code, can I get back in if told I have a no TAG waiver?

Hey I was in National Guard and had no guidance from the older guys I got in right out of High school fast forward to 2009 my mom was talking to my unit and no information was given to why I was discharge I have no records or any way of getting except one paper that says I have a RE-3 code I'm talking to a recruiter and she says I have a no tag waiver ..my question is how many time s can you try to get a waiver and how do you go in front of a board for a appeal

There is absolutely no way to get an RE-3 and NOT know why. To get an RE-3, you pretty much had to get the boot from the Service. And there is NO WAY you would get the boot and NOT know why.
As for how the process works, your Recruiter submits a waiver request packet and then the wait game is played to find out if it's denied or approved.

SPC (Join to see) - I'm going to clear up some confusion for you:
1) Reserve and National Guard Soldiers do NOT get DD214s upon discharge from service unless we have spent more than 90 days on Active Duty. The National Guard gets an NGB-22.
2) As for not receiving paperwork, I am certain you did....but I digress.
3) If you need your paperwork, there are a few ways to get it.
A) Submit a request to the State Guard Bureau for the state in which you served.
B) Submit an SF-180 request to the National Archives (you can google the site) to get
all copies of your records of military service.

Yea, I have seen this several times. The SM blows off the unit. Isn't in contact, doesn't answer the phone/e-mail, runs up 9+ U's (usually in the 20's by time a packet is approved), and then the USAR sends the discharge notification to the Home of Record and washes their hands of the SM.
Then all the sudden, the SM comes back saying "wait........... what.............. I want to appeal"
By this time the command team is free and clear. They don't have to respond to civilian inquiries. The discharge was executed by a Commanding General, so it's gone way past the recovery zone.

SPC (Join to see) None of what you are saying make sense... you would not have been discharged from service without paperwork and a release from the NG stating the manner, type of discharge to include the RE code... what "one paper" are you referring to?

The TAG is The Adjutant General. How does the Recruiter know you have an RE-3 code if she can't see your NGB22, which is the equivalent of a DD214. That should not only have your RE code, it should have a reason code.
The thread I have read so far seems to indicate that you finished your enlistment. Did you complete your enlistment? Does your NGB22 say Honorable? No article 15's, no Flags for weight, APFT failure, Drugs? No civilian offenses that could effect your military career?
If you don't have copies of all your enlistment papers, orders, etc, The easy way is to hit the Readiness NCO in your old unit and see if he can access them for you. 2009 is a few years back, you may have to hit the state headquarters Archive Section. I have went to the one in my state and they had everything back to OSUT, and I wasn't a member of the Kentucky National Guard back then.

SPC (Join to see) - There is a reason and authority in Box 23, your discharge type in Box 24 and your RE code in Box 26. Your mother was not told anything because is you are over 18, she isn't authorized to get that information.
If your Reason and Authority was misconduct under UCMJ according to NGR 600-200, there is something in your service you are leaving out. Unless that is a mistake, you finished your enlistment and had no flags or negative counseling, your chances of re-enlisting are realistically none. If that's the case, you can apply to have your NGB22 corrected and try again.

CPT Lawrence Cable Your right she wasn't told anything and the records were more than likely sent and I was no longer at the current address at the time ..I just talked to a recruiter and have all paperwork needed just waiting on information to come from TOP and go from there Thanks

CPT Lawrence Cable the snippet of info in block 16 looks like nonparticipation language and an attempt by the unit to send the nonparticipation notices to last HOR. What’s your take?

The language in the Remarks seem to be pretty standard stuff when you don't have contact with the soldier. The soldier seems to indicate that Misconduct under UCMJ as the reason in Box 23, which isn't shown, and that isn't the correct reason for a non participation discharge. That is supposed to be used for drug offenses court-martial offenses or civilian convictions. If that is the case, I don't see a waiver in his future,
