I understand how initial enlistment bonuses work. Are reenlistment bonuses the same in terms of cap per lump sum ($10,000) and receiving them on your enlistment anniversary day? This is specifically pertaining for a reclassification, where I would receive my bonus AFTER the successful completion of AIT.

Are you asking when you will get your bonus?
Assuming you graduate at the scheduled time, your bonus will be released to DFAS within two weeks of graduation and then DFAS will pay you within two weeks. It won't be paid with your normal pay and you'll get it all at once, minus 22% for federal tax and any state income tax

SFC (Join to see) The biggest question I had is how it will be paid out. It is a tier 8 bonus, and I will be getting promoted here shortly. So with your answer, I'd get $34,800 (minus federal taxes) paid to me all at once?
