Did you call housing at Ft Hood and ask them? That would probably be the way to get the most accurate info.

Yes we put in an application got approved but they said 1 yr wait .. but I have had people say it doesn’t take that long that’s just an estimate.. so I was just asking to see if anyone else would know

Cyndi Morgan - It ultimately depends on the time of the year - such as summer is PCS season so there's generally more people moving out then. Now that we're getting to the end of summer PCS may be slowing down. No one will know for sure as it just depends on the amount of people who are leaving and coming in. Different times of the year have more people PCSing than others.

I applied for housing 30 days out and got a place day 1. Fort Hood had a pretty good turn around of soldiers going in and out. Call them and ask.
