I looking to come back in after a break in service and I notice the Army business rules for prior service hasn’t been updated since February of 2020. Just curious to know if an update will be coming soon or if they’re gonna stay the same for awhile.

The prior service business rules are just a guideline. The most recent and relevant information is released to Recruiters. You'll have to see a recruiter for that

How long has the break been? Can you pass an OPAT and ACFT? Are you going AD, Reserves, or Guard? 5 year break may mean a refresher course unless you can pass the above and have your ETP aaproved.
