How likely is it to be able to reclass outside of your reenlistment window?

Looking to reclass to 13F. I don't know much about the process besides being told I don't have to wait for my reenlistment, just a 4187 along with a packet. How does this process work and how likely is it to be accepted or go through?

SGT (Join to see) nobody knows when class seats will appear or what class seats will be released. In your case, that's the least of your problems. You need a grade waiver, an ETP endorsed by your O6, and you need to convince the person at HRC who approves ETPs that you are exceptional. If you don't know that you are then you are not

Here is a straightforward answer: both 11B and 13F are currently balanced in terms of IN/OUT calls. There is currently a very low chance you will be able to get into 13F as of right now through reenlistment. As of the reclassification MILPER, effective 29SEP2021, CMF 18, or MOS 12P, 17C, 17E, 25D, 25E, 31D, 35L, 37F, 38B, 79R (SSG only), 79S, and 89D are the only authorized jobs that you can reclassify to regardless of IN/OUT calls.
The only way I've seen a Soldier almost reclassify in a completely different fashion was a 68P (Radiology Tech) that got accepted to attend RASP and voluntarily accepted to reclass to 13F IF he passed RASP. This was only due to the fact his MOS is not authorized in Ranger units. He ended up being an admin drop due to an issue with too many applicants and Ranger units not needing more 13Fs. (or something of that nature).

Additionally, adding onto what SSG (Join to see) posted below, the majority of the jobs which I listed are an application MOS which can be done outside of your reenlistment window.

You have to be in your window unless you are submitting a packet for one of the mos that are packets like the 18 series or 12P, 17C , 25D, civil affairs and things like those. However you have to qualify for them and have one year on station.
