How long should I wait to get orders for 35L CISAC reclassification so that I will know if will do TDY en route or TDY and return?

Got my class date for 35L CISAC reclassification today. How long should I wait to get orders/know if will do TDY en route or TDY and return? My class date is scheduled for beginning of February. I know it’s early but I’m very excited and eager to go. Also what tips would anyone have for school? TIA!

All reclass are always TDY Enroute. The only time a reclass can be TDY and return is when the unit offers to fund it and there is a valid spot in the unit for that MOS. No unit is willing to pay to train a Soldier when the Army will send them a replacement for free.

So I confirmed about 10 minutes ago that it is TFY Enroute, do you know how this works? Maybe when I’ll find out where I’ll be stationed next? This is all very new to me so I apologize if they’re silly questions! I do appreciate your help!

SSG (Join to see) You'll come on assignment either 120 days before class or 60 days before class, depending on how your reclass was processed.
You'll be given your assignment prior to class, you need to process your levy packet, then take your orders to your DTS people and process your DD1610
