How long after the 51C board convenes does the applicant get notified of their acceptance (and receive a follow-on assignment)?

After the 51C board convenes..approximately how long until the applicant is notified of their acceptance? Also, I understand that you have virtually no say in your follow on assignment, but is there any way (or anyone) who an applicant could reach out to (either before or after getting accepted) to at least ask to be considered for a certain duty station?

All Soldiers will be notified by email regarding approval or disapproval status 30 to 120 days following the conclusion of each review panel.

You don't get a choice in your follow on assignment. Reclass branch will place you on your follow on assignment before you go to school.
