How will the timing of the approval of my DD 368 (for conditional resignation/release) be impacted by my transferring to another unit?

Hello all!

I have a unique circumstance. I submitted a conditional resignation/release packet several months ago. I just checked ePAT it is currently at DIV. I also have a transfer to another unit (outside of the command) pending (currently at 99th).

If my 368 is approved prior to the transfer is it still valid after I transfer?
If my 368 is approved after I transfer (for whatever reason) is it still valid?

I'm assuming no and I'm in no real hurry for this process so starting over won't be a bother.

Once your 368 is approved, then all you need to do is wait for orders to ship off to Active Duty. Regardless of when it is approved (pre or post transfer) the 368 is valid.
