I was recently diagnosed with panic disorder, not sure what it’s from to be honest, just random panic attacks and can’t really think of anything that started it. I’ve lost friends but i don’t see that being a plausible reason and jump out of planes which i never had them then, but now I have them all the time. How does this affect my future service?

Besides your two fractures and torn MCL, coupled with this anxiety disorder....you need to be prepared to be medically discharged. BUT.....if the evaluations determine you are still good to serve, then you will be put in an MOS that would be considered low stress (if that's even possible for the Army, really) and be on profile(s). Now, depending on what your anxiety is for, you could be placed on meds and continue to serve. Having panic disorders will not kill the Army for you, just means you're going to have left/right limitations. Seek mental therapy, do the physical therapy. I've known guys with bad PTSD from combat still serving. If they can, you can. But, it will be determined by the evaluation board(s).

That’s what I was thinking, they have been talking about potentially med boarding me, but being slow about making a decision. Currently they put me at SWMG for rehab and kinda “hold over” status until they figure out what they are doing with me. At this rate wouldn’t be surprised if i spend my whole contract waiting

PFC (Join to see) - You won't spend your whole contract waiting...but this process can take a spell. Right now, you're on physical rehab. Now, the determination needs to be made on both avenues. It's gonna be a wait game for sure....but I would venture a guess that you'll know something about about 2 months. I know that isn't the best answer, but it is a guess. Because first, they need to see how you respond to the physical therapy IOT assess if your physical injuries have improved.
