“My job is harder than recruiting for the Army,” Dennis Hoff, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch and America’s most famous pimp, said during a recent interview about his new book, “The Art of the Pimp: One Man’s Search for Love, Sex, and Money“.

Hoff’s lawyer, Benjamin Kruer, Sr., issued a statement the next day, saying that Hoff didn’t really mean that his job is harder than that of a recruiter, he was merely using the joke to suggest that legalizing prostitution across the state of Nevada would make his life easier. “Hoff respects the working women (and men) of the Army, including the recruiters,” Kruer told the press, “His statement was taken entirely out of context.”

When questioned about the issue, Hoff, however, defended himself, “You’re damn right my job is harder,” he replied, “Keeping those girls in line is a pain in the ass, I mean, all an Army recruiter has to do is fast talk some high-school kids into signing papers and bam, the job is over.

Me? Oh no, I’ve got to check records, test for STDs, keep girls from running off and getting married (I mean Vegas is right there), and stay on top of the competition. The biggest thing the Army has to worry about is the Marines having a better TV ad.

Hell, even the Air Force has a tougher job than the Army, they had Air Force Amy for God’s sake, and she’s a handful, I know from experience. It’s a sea of estrogen out here and you’d have to be a damn good recruiter to manage more than an hour at my job. And I don’t even want to get into ‘that time of the month.”

And considering the statistics, data points out that he may be right about at least one aspect of his job. Not only is Hoff’s business largely female dominated (70-80% compared to a rough 14% in the Army), but female “skills” are more in demand, giving the women he’s pimping a distinct upper hand. You just don’t see that in the Army, which has historically been a male dominated profession.

Hoff also reportedly went on to say, “I work harder, stay up longer, get more tail, and deal with more horny young men on a daily basis then any recruiter lazing about on my tax dollars. I turn down more 2-10-2’s (reportedly slang for an unattractive woman) then they’ll ever see. I spend more of my time promoting than the Army has in the last ten years. The Bunny Ranch doesn’t sell itself; I have to work to get men in the door. I’ll bet the Army never had to resort to handing out hooker cards for advertisement now did they?”

After a short discussion with his lawyer, Hoff announced that he is not available for further comment…

Meanwhile, Army officials, including Sergeant James Petty, have taken offense. “His job is harder than mine?” Petty declared belligerently, “I’d like to see him convince some snot nosed kid to join the military just for an education and ‘exciting travel’ benefits.”

Come on, editorial staff! Either review RP's mission statement and adhere to maintaining a professional social networking site for Service Members and Veterans and adhere to it, or burn the damned thing, along with RP 3.1 and continue the decline downwards to becoming just another trashy social media site. This story has zero relevance to this community, zero! It's just more garbage polluting a site that until fairly recently was held in very high regard for avoiding such drivel. It's bad enough some of the junk members are posting, but the editorial staff should damn well know better! We are losing scores of quality members by the day, Officers and NCOs who have been here a long time and have provided outstanding direction and mentorship to thousands of others of all ranks from all Services. Their chief complaint? They do not like what this site is morphing into. Think about that the next time you think about posting something so completely asinine as an RP "editorial"!

I'd say he's right...his 'recruitment' talent pool is WAY less than an Army recruiters (only recruits females and only between ages 18(ish) to about 26) and the pool alone is really only within hundreds of miles of Nevada; BUT these girls can have tattoo anywhere. WAY LESS TO PICK FROM! ;)

Also, because of the 'No Child Left Behind Act', Army Recruiters have access to out Nation's high schools...Dennis Hoff does not (yet). :)
