How long does it usually take to go to SFQC after SFAS? I am trying to gauge how long I will be gone to prepare my wife for the move and child birth.

First you have to pass the Assessment Course and ALSO be selected. You could pass the course and not be selected.

Thank you! I got selected. It’s not long after you do when you find out the Q dates. There’s a 2 year window that you have to start the Q before they take away your selected status.

If and that's a damn Big IF, you pass selection, you orders will come from SWIC when they have an opening for you. They will not pass around orders till you have proven your are qualified and are worth training. PS Passing selection does not always guarantee futher training.

I got selected. There’s only a certain amount of days for certain Q class dates, so it takes about a month to schedule class dates. Thank you!
