I’m in the process of switching from the Army Reserve to the Air National Guard. My Commander will sign what he needs, but he’s asking which section he signs before it goes up to BN S1? Does he do the approval/disapproval section, or the authorizing official? I am not sure and I’d like to let him know. I know there’s instructions at the bottom, but I wasn’t sure what’s what, and I want it to be correct.
Thanks everyone

You sign Section I 3 d., the Recruiter signs Section I 4 c. Section II 6 e. is for the Army Reserve approval authority, which is normally the first General in your Chain of Command. Your local Commanders signature isn't required unless he has been designated that authority by that first General.
